Lesley Kernochan

Lesley Kernochan is an Americana singer/songwriter with elements of folk, country, pop, and jazzy mouth trumpet.  Within each song Lesley's versatile voice brings music to life that is "uniquely beautiful...[with] lively and sharp intelligence." [No Depression]  In Lesley's two most recent albums, she collaborated with an All-star team of LA musicians, and NY producer Scott Jacoby to create music that "casts her in a place delicately between the soundscape of Kacey Musgraves and Norah Jones—studied and soft-spoken, yet rollicking. Lesley has an eclectic background as a contemporary composer, operatically trained coloratura, saxophonist and musical saw player.  She has five albums of original music including the A Cappella creation Undulating, her Indie rock/pop/jazz sensation The Pickle Jar, the Parent's Choice Gold Award-winning children’s album A Day in the Life of a Boogaleeboo, "★★★★" Rolling Stone Germany country folk record A Calm Sun, and her most recent eclectic Americana offering The Hummingbird Revolution.

Currently living in her hometown Los Angeles, Lesley has toured the country and Europe extensively with other music projects, as well as her own.  She performs with guitar and voice, and sometimes includes piano, sax, and musical saw.
